Job summary

Central Oregon Collective is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Community Inclusion Program in Bend, OR. The DSP will assist residents with daily living activities, medications, meals, and transportation, while maintaining a clean home and supporting independence.

Training is provided and opportunities for advancement are available within the organization. The role offers a set evening schedule (6:00 pm – 12:00 am) or a rotating 4-day pattern, with competitive starting

Qualifications

• Pass Criminal History Background Check
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Oregon Driver License or State issued ID

Responsibilities

• Hands on involvement with residents daily routine and needs
• Assistance for residents to perform their personal care, including hygiene, grooming, exercise, range of motion, bladder and bowel care
• Dispensing medications
• Maintain a clean and attractive home
• Assist in preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
• Interact respectfully with clients by encouraging support to make choices, develop independence, and to participate in all areas within the community, as well as working with clients 1:1
• Completion of all daily documentation
• Provide transportation utilizing company vehicles and supervision to ensure residents consistently access and engage in preferred community activities
