Job summary

Northwest Care LLC in Bend, Oregon seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide 24-hour person-centered care for adults with IDD in a home-like setting.

You will support daily living, accompany clients on community activities, manage medications under supervision, and help with meals and safety. Shifts include day, swing and night with pay between $25 and $27 per hour depending on shift and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Background checks and driving history checks required.
• Ability to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities while upholding client dignity and respect.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence and community involvement.
• Oversee medication administration and documentation under supervision.
• Transport clients to community activities as needed.
• Monitor changes in health or behavior and report to supervisors.
