Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct care, skill-building support, and community integration for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and related needs. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 4pm–8pm, with a focus on ADLs and personal self-care.

You will document in the electronic health record, uphold HIPAA privacy, advocate for individual rights, and maintain professional, nurturing relationships while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must complete background checks.
• TB health screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in support plans.
• Provide aid with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal self-care.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Engage in community integration activities with individuals.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Uphold individual rights and HIPAA privacy at all times.
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold company policies.
