Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking DSPs to provide direct care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges. You will assist with ADLs, medication administration after training, and community integration, while maintaining professional boundaries and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires reliable transportation, technology proficiency, and a readiness to perform physical tasks during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation.
• Must successfully complete all background checks and health screening (TB).
• Must be proficient with technology.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks (lifting/transfers).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the plan.
• Provide ADL support (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, meals).
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Accompany individuals to community activities.
• Complete documentation in the EHR timely.
• Engage with individuals in home and community.
• Uphold rights and HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to policies and professional boundaries.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation as required.
