Job summary

Butler Plus in Maryland is seeking reliable individuals to join our doorstep trash and recycling team, performing nightly collections for multifamily communities. You will use an open-bed pickup truck, log activities with our field app, and coordinate with a supervisor to ensure on-time service.

No experience required; we provide training. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are mandatory, as is ownership of an open-bed pickup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Own an open bed pickup truck (required at most properties).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and climb stairs.
• Demonstrate reliability and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure satisfactory completion of nightly doorstep trash/recycling collection during service evenings.
• Utilize the assigned trash tote or cart to collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep.
• Utilize Butler Plus's field app for timekeeping, check-in/out, and reporting.
• Safely transport collected trash using your open-bed pickup truck and dispose of it in on-site dumpsters, compactors or chute rooms.
• Perform additional services as needed at assigned communities (porter, bulk item hauling, etc.).
• Maintain daily communication with your supervisor to ensure efficient workflow.
• Work quietly and efficiently, minimizing noise to avoid disturbance to residents.
