Job summary

Butler Plus is seeking team members for nightly doorstep trash and recycling collection in multifamily communities. You will collect bagged trash from resident doorsteps using a tote or cart and log activity via the company app. The role emphasizes reliability, a strong work ethic, and safety during outdoor work.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. You must own an open-bed pickup truck and have a valid license with insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nightly doorstep trash/recycling collection at service evenings.
• Collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep with tote/cart.
• Use the field app for timekeeping, check-in/out, and reporting.
• Safely transport trash to dumpsters/compactors or chute rooms.
• Perform additional services (porter, bulk item hauling, pressure washing, etc.).
• Maintain daily communication with supervisor to ensure workflow.
• Work quietly to minimize noise and respect residents.
• Lift up to 25 lbs; climb stairs; work outdoors in varying weather.
• Own an open bed pickup truck (required at most properties).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Have a cell phone to download and use the company app.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and reliability; work independently.
