Job summary

Butler Plus is seeking energetic individuals for nightly doorstep trash and recycling collection in multifamily communities. You will work 8:00pm to finish (roughly 2–3 hours), using an open-bed pickup truck where required, and leveraging our field app for check-ins and reporting.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with insurance, and the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name or listed as an authorized driver (mandatory for properties requiring a truck).
• Own an open-bed pickup truck (required at most properties).
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and ascend stairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Pre-employment background check and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure satisfactory completion of nightly doorstep trash/recycling collection during service evenings.
• Utilize the assigned trash tote or cart to collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep.
• Utilize Butler Plus's field app for timekeeping, check-in/out, and reporting.
• Safely transport collected trash using an open-bed pickup truck or cart to on-site dumpsters or chute rooms.
• Perform additional services as needed at assigned communities (porter service, bulk item hauling, etc.).
• Maintain daily communication with supervisor/manager to ensure efficient workflow.
• Work quietly and efficiently to minimize disturbance to residents.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and reliability; work independently.
• Climb stairs in apartment buildings; work outdoors in various weather conditions.
