Verland is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Aliquippa, PA. The DSP role provides individualized care to individuals with complex needs in a home-like setting.

The position is part-time (16 hours) with an overnight shift from 11pm to 7am on Friday and Saturday. A two-week paid training program is provided, and background checks are required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a background, physical, and drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and support for residents.
• Engage residents in daily living activities and treatment plans.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Administer medications as needed and follow care plans.
• Document observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Support with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
