Challenge Unlimited, Inc in Pontoon Beach, IL is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve personal goals.

This full-time evening shift (2:00pm–10:00pm) includes weekends, overtime and holidays. The role offers paid training and benefits, with a starting pay of $19.75 per hour.

You will assist with ADLs, medication monitoring, transportation, community integration, and documentation, in a home-like residential setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and state background checks.
• Proficient with computer and typing skills during employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, meal prep, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Support residents with medication administration and monitor health and safety concerns.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Foster a home-like environment and provide physical and emotional support.
• Assist with community integration, life skills development, and documentation of services.
