Advancing Opportunities in Jackson, NJ is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes daily living support, community participation, and skills development in a respectful, trauma-informed setting.

This full-time position offers competitive pay of $19.16/hour with $20.16/hour on weekends, paid training, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and Paid Time Off. DailyPay is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
• At least 21 years of age and valid driver’s license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and current vehicle registration/insurance.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and complete documentation in English.
• Basic computer literacy including email and basic office apps.
• Ability to complete required training including CPR and First Aid.
• Ability to pass background and screening checks.
• Ability to perform essential physical duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meals, housekeeping, personal hygiene, shopping, and household tasks.
• Provide support to promote independence, dignity, safety, wellness, and quality of life.
• Help individuals develop relationships and participate in community activities.
• Provide supervision and guidance to build skills and confidence.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications and follow healthcare plans per policies.
