Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a caregiver in Minnesota to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting. The role provides meaningful work, competitive pay of $20.60 per hour, and a schedule that includes evenings and rotating weekends.

You will assist with personal care, help participants participate in activities, and support goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, teamwork and time-management.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record per Sevita policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with developmental challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants engage in community activities and pursue their interests.
• Support participants in achieving personal goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop genuine relationships with participants and provide compassionate, patient care.
