Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Residential Service System (RSS) team in Philadelphia. You will provide direct care, supervision, and support to individuals with behavioral health needs in a residential setting, helping them gain independence and skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to complete all required background checks, clearances, and FBI clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support based on individualized person-centered plans.
• Assist participants in achieving goals identified in their ISPs.
• Encourage healthy decision-making and positive behavioral outcomes.
• Support activities of daily living: personal care, meal planning, household maintenance, and money management.
• Administer medications according to program policies and procedures.
• Transport individuals to appointments, community activities, and essential destinations.
• Assist participants in accessing medical care, benefits, social services, and community resources.
• Promote community integration and participation in meaningful activities.
• Complete documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and well-being.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
