Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. Full-time positions with various schedules, paid training, and DailyPay options are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification if not currently certified.
• Ability to pass: state and federal criminal background checks, drug screening, pre-employment physical and PPD.

Responsabilités

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assisting with personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed.
• Supporting daily living skills and independence.
• Assisting with appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Following individualized support plans and goals.
• Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care.
