Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at Adesha Village in Pennsylvania. The DSPs will work with adults with mental health needs and developmental differences, providing hands-on support and skill-building to promote independence and community participation.

We offer competitive pay of $18.20/hour, DailyPay, and a benefits package including health coverage, a 401(k), PTO, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Ability to read, write, and complete required documentation in English.
• Ability to complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, and other assigned training.
• Ability to effectively support adults with intellectual and developmental differences and behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, cleaning, shopping, and personal hygiene.
• Provide individualized assistance to help each person maximize independence and quality of life.
• Encourage individuals to develop and strengthen daily living skills.
• Provide supervision and guidance based on each individual's needs.
• Support individuals in achieving outcomes identified in their ISPs.
• Provide trauma-informed and person-centered care.
• Work collaboratively with program and clinical team members to provide consistent support.
