Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is hiring a Dining Server to provide courteous, efficient table service for residents and guests during evening meals. You will help with daily meal service, events, and ensuring a clean, safe dining area in a senior living community.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, up to two years’ experience (senior living preferred), and CPR/BLS certification is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and health records systems is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred; senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, events and resident functions.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver courteous, accurate service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize and reset tables; complete daily checklists.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas and manage floors and tables after meals and events.
• Adapt service to meet residents' dining preferences and needs; support cost-control.
