Job summary

Cedarhurst Living seeks a friendly Dining Server to deliver exceptional table service to residents and guests in our senior living community. You will assist with events, maintain clean dining areas, and follow safety and food-handling guidelines while providing courteous, accurate service.

High school diploma required; up to two years' experience preferred, especially in senior living. Proficiency with MS Office and basic math helps; CPR/BLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools including Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area following all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables and complete daily checklists.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas and ensure floors, tables, and chairs are kept clean.
• Communicate dining menu details to residents and families and follow safety guidelines.
