Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dining Server to deliver excellent dining experiences for residents and guests. You will assist with daily meals, events, and special occasions while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and familiarity with basic MS Office and EHR systems. Prior senior living experience is preferred; CPR/BLS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred; senior living experience desirable.
• Licensure preferred; ability to obtain licensure if required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, events, and marketing functions.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders courteously and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area following food safety standards.
• Clear and reset tables, manage daily checklists for dining areas.
• Communicate menu details to residents and families; support cost-control measures.
