Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Dietary Aide in Gorham, ME. The role supports the dining services by preparing and serving meals, ensuring dietary requirements and resident preferences are met, and maintaining clean dining areas.

Shifts run 3:30PM–7:30PM; a High School Diploma and Serv Safe certification are required. Responsibilities include delivering meals to rooms and designated dining areas, assisting cooks, and helping with inventory and supplies while following safety guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Entry level (0-3 years) in food service or hospitality.
• Serv Safe or local certification required.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, including those with hearing or cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all food service functions as directed.
• Serve meals and ensure meals meet prescribed diets and resident preferences.
• Prepare, deliver, and verify meal trays and dining areas.
• Assist in stocking and inventory of food supplies.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in food prep areas.
