Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility in Belfast, ME. The role supports nutritious dining experiences and adheres to dietary guidelines.

You will assist with food prep, serve meals, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety standards while delivering friendly resident service. Prior kitchen experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must follow safety, sanitation and COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsabilités

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
