Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and deliver friendly service to residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. COVID-19 vaccination compliance is required where applicable, and state-specific ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
