Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility.

You will assist with food preparation, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain kitchen cleanliness in a supportive, resident-focused environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, flexibility to work as part of a team, and a ServSafe/food handler certification as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
