Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, follow dietary guidelines, and provide friendly, attentive service to residents and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and working with residents respectfully. A high school diploma is preferred, with ServSafe or Food Handler certification where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
