Job summary

Winsupply is seeking a Distribution Center Department Supervisor to lead a critical department within our DC network. You will translate operational goals into actionable plans, coach the team, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards daily.

You will mentor junior leaders, drive cross-training, enforce OSHA procedures, and collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and service levels across the building.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Distribution, Logistics, Business Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of warehouse supervisor or mid-level leader experience.
• MHE certification required.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training of new employees.
• Mentor department team members and establish a high-performing, versatile team.
• Execute cross-training initiatives to cover multiple departments.
• Provide real-time feedback and implement performance improvement plans.
• Enforce OSHA compliance and safety procedures.
• Mentor junior leadership and manage incident reporting.
• Set daily performance goals based on volume and capacity.
• Monitor fulfillment accuracy, dock-to-stock, order cycle time, and labor efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with other supervisors to balance labor and resources.
• Ensure team members are certified and proficient with MHE.
