SanMar seeks a DC Supervisor in Ashland, VA to lead daily DC operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment and shipping, ensuring accurate and timely processing. The role supports employees and collaborates with other departments as needed.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of warehouse experience, 1–3 years in a lead role, and may speak Spanish. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of warehouse experience.
• 1–3 years as a lead or supervisor.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate with customers; identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate daily activities to achieve productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
• Oversee all aspects of the distribution center to ensure accurate and timely processing and delivery.
• Provide day‑to‑day direction and development to hourly staff, including coaching and corrective actions.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide continued feedback on overall performance.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity.
• Analyze business and performance trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Foster an environment that respects diverse backgrounds and values.
• Respond to employee needs with professionalism and respect.
• Manage difficult employee situations professionally.
