SanMar-Internal in Ashland, VA is seeking a DC Supervisor to lead receiving, storage, order fulfillment and shipping in a fast-paced distribution center on a Monday–Friday 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of warehouse experience.
• 1–3 years as a lead or supervisor.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Read/write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information; verbally communicate with customers.
• Follow directions and adapt to changing priorities as business needs require.
• Demonstrates sound judgment, flexibility, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Be self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify daily activities to achieve productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
• Oversee DC operations to ensure products are processed and delivered accurately and timely.
• Provide day-to-day direction and development to hourly staff; coaching and corrective actions.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity.
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
