Job summary

CSU Long Beach is hiring Part-Time Custodian positions (0.50 FTE) to join Beach Building Services. The role involves custodial, janitorial, and maintenance duties across assigned areas, with evening/weekend shifts per schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate custodial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains neat and clean facilities for faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Removes Trash/Recycle paper, cardboard and various materials.
• Maintains facility safety procedures and security measures.
• Positive interaction and communication of custodial activities.
• Maintains and operates vacuums, wet/dry vacuums, buffers, auto scrubbers, blowers, etc. for maintaining carpets, tile floors, and exterior areas.
