Job summary

CSU Long Beach invites applications for Custodian. This temporary position is 1 year (1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week) with no permanent status. Under supervision, you will perform custodial, janitorial, and maintenance duties in assigned areas to keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming.

CSU salary range for this role is $3,461 to $4,752 per month, with eligibility for comprehensive benefits. Applicants must meet physical requirements and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate standard

Responsibilities

• Maintains neat and clean facilities for faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Removes Trash/Recycle paper, cardboard and various materials.
• Maintains facility safety procedures and security measures.
• Positive interaction and communication of custodial activities.
• Maintains and operates vacuums, wet/dry vacuums, buffers, auto scrubbers, blowers, etc. for maintaining carpets, tile floors, and exterior areas.
