Zusammenfassung

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Custodial Worker 1 in the Facilities Maintenance Services (FMS) Department. You will join a team performing daily, weekly, and project cleaning across assigned buildings, with duties including restroom cleaning, floor care, trash removal, supply stocking, graffiti removal, and more.

The role operates on a Monday–Friday schedule, with potential for weather-related or essential-hours shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment.
• Alternatively, six months of general work experience plus six months of custodial experience in a commercial/industrial or similar setting.
• Six months of experience as a Custodial Worker Trainee in Nevada State service or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Clean restrooms, mop and vacuum floors, and remove trash.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Wipe and dust surfaces, wax floors, and clean carpets.
• Perform annual maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Snow removal and other tasks as needed.
