University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for Custodial Worker II (Graveyard) at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC). The role involves cleaning a 184,000 square foot facility, including health centers, offices and recreation areas, across 9:30pm-6am shifts.

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment.
Six months of general work experience and one year of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment.
Six months of experience as a Custodial Worker I in Nevada State service or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Trash removal, sweeping and mopping.
Stripping/waxing and buffing floors; carpet shampooing.
Restroom maintenance, window washing and daily office cleaning.
Operat ing cleaning machinery (buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors) and basic maintenance duties.
