Chimes DC is seeking a Lead Worker for the Fort Meade, MD site to supervise a custodial team during evening hours. The role includes maintaining public and work space areas, ensuring contract compliance, and mentoring junior staff.

The position requires the ability to lead, manage workload, and transport supplies as needed. Evening shift from 4:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, with on-site duties and an emphasis on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct others.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cleaning functions while leading team in day-to-night activities.
• Transport team members, supplies, and equipment to assigned buildings.
• Mentor newly hired custodians and ensure contract specifications are met.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and public areas; descale showers and toilets.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items; assist with special events as needed.
