Job summary

Chimes is hiring a Custodian for the Fort Meade, MD location. Shift runs Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 12:30am. The role requires cleaning duties across all areas, adherence to contract specifications, and maintaining a clean and safe facility.

The position is on-site with essential duties including restroom disinfection, floor care, waste removal, and general maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with six months of custodial experience recommended.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications.
• Disinfect restrooms and public areas, descale showers, toilets, and urinals.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; dust surfaces and polish furniture.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items; attend work regularly and on time.
• Follow all building, security, and company policies and procedures.
