Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide work direction to custodial staff. The role includes scheduling, training, and monitoring operations in a fast-paced facilities environment.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, maintaining inventory, performing safety inspections, and reporting hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED required.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE and supplies.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
