Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Luverne, MN is seeking a part-time cook for evenings, 24.5 hours per week. You will prepare and serve meals for patients, residents and staff, following HACCP guidelines and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities include using a range of kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitation, and documenting HACCP steps. A high school diploma is preferred; Serv Safe may be required. On-the-job training provided, benefits offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions; basic math skills.
• Experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adheres to menu, dietary requirements, HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment and maintains clean, labeled storage and work areas.
• Documents HACCP steps and temperatures to assure safety and quality.
