Job summary

Kyeatright in Paducah, KY is seeking a dedicated Cook for full-time second shift (9:30a-6:00p). You will prepare entrees, vegetables, sandwiches, and other menu items using standardized recipes, and support daily production.

You will keep the kitchen clean and safe, help with labeling and rotation of stock, and coordinate with the Food Service Supervisor to meet quality standards. Preferred certifications and a short experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a food handler card or ServSafe certificate.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of kitchen/food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, vegetables, sandwiches and other menu items using standardized recipes.
• Label, date, and rotate products in storage and keeping dry/refrigerated/frozen areas organized.
• Replenish food items and prepare for next day production.
• Coordinate with Food Service Supervisor/Manager to meet production and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sanitizing area and equipment after use.
