St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Prep Cook to join our Edgewood Nutrition Services Team. Shift/Hours: PRN, Second Shift. You will prepare raw ingredients, set up workstations, and assemble simple items like salads, sandwiches, and desserts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read with comprehension and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, or cutting to be used later in dishes.
• Sets up cold food tables, salad bars, or workstations.
• Produces simple dishes such as salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in encounters with patients, families, visitors and staff.
