Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions; basic math skills.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certification may be required depending upon location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location.
• Depending on location, may be required to drive; Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble baked goods, cook and portion food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to prepare, store and use food and food products.
• Operate equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, food processors and more.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and communicate effectively within the team.
