Good Samaritan in Auburn, NE is seeking an evening shift, full-time food service worker to prepare and serve meals for patients, residents, staff and guests. You will follow menu guidelines, HACCP procedures and ensure food quality, safety and sanitation throughout cooking and serving areas.

The role requires ability to work independently when needed and strong teamwork, with capacity to stand for long periods and handle diverse kitchen tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of applicable experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location.
• Driver's license may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble baked goods, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to prepare, store and use food and food products.
• Operate equipment like mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens and refrigeration.
• Maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and work as part of a team.
