Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Food Service Assistant in Atkinson, NE for evening, part-time shifts. You will monitor food temperatures, serve meals, restock items and handle payments with a computerized register. HACCP guidelines and clean, safe work habits are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years or older.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions; basic math skills required.
• On-the-job training provided; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures and maintain clean serving areas.
• Prepare, serve and restock food items; operate a computerized register for payments.
• Ensure HACCP guidelines are followed and provide courteous patron service.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities.
