Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Auburn, NE is seeking a full-time dietary kitchen position. Evening shift, 32 hours weekly, with a salary range of $15.50–$23.50 per hour. You will prepare, season and portion food for patients and staff, while ensuring safety, sanitation and adherence to dietary guidelines.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and reading/writing abilities. Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adheres to menu and dietary guidelines and HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation, labeling and storage of food and equipment.
• Documents HACCP steps, temperatures and outcomes.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Works with staff and communicates effectively in a hospital setting.
