Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician to join our Kansas City area team. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC problems on production equipment, analyze performance, and implement repairs to improve reliability.

The role requires ladder logic experience with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000, use of multimeters, and collaboration with maintenance. Training will start on day shift for up to two months before moving to evenings; compensation includes health benefits from day

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC problems on production equipment.
• Analyze equipment performance and perform repairs to improve reliability.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the work-order system (EAM).
• Maintain backups of PLC programs and check new equipment performance.
