Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems on production equipment at our Kansas City, KS facility. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RS Logix, and documenting repairs in the EAM system.

Training on days for up to 2 months before moving to evenings; schedule Monday–Thursday, with OT Fridays. We offer health insurance from day one, paid time off, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a wellness

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of related experience.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production equipment.
• Use ladder logic programming (Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000) to support PLC controls.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system.
• Diagnose faults using electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements and support PLC across the plant.
