Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in long-term care. Under RN supervision, you will perform basic nursing tasks, assist with daily living activities, and support the care plan while adhering to infection control policies.

This full-time evening shift offers 40 hours per week with a $18.00–$25.50 hourly wage and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be CNA certified or in process to obtain within four months.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Maintains yearly department competency testing and education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility.
• Assist with meals, dining, hydration, and nutrition.
• Document interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs.
