Job summary

Good Samaritan Society—SD Desmet Center in De Smet, SD—seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for evening, full-time 40 hours/week. You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support residents’ comfort and safety in a faith-based environment.

CNA certification and ongoing education are required or in-progress as applicable. The role includes benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k), and shift

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (preferred)
• CNA certification required or in process within four months
• Lifelong learning and continuing education credits maintained annually

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision
• Assist with activities of daily living ( bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting)
• Document and communicate changes in resident condition to charge nurse and team
• Follow infection prevention, PPE usage, and care plans; participate in wellness activities

Education
