Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in long-term care settings. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs and document care under RN supervision, while following infection control policies.

The role requires a CNA certification with the state nursing board, or enrollment in a training program, and may involve driving duties if needed. Evening shifts available, with a 32-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required with State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification.
• Facility provides CNA training and certification where applicable.
• Maintain continuing education credits annually (minimum 12 hours).
• May be classified as Sanford Driver with valid license where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and meals.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN or charge nurse.
• Help with transferring, repositioning, and mobility with proper technique.
• Support infection prevention and PPE use; participate in wellness activities as needed.
• Assist with documentation of resident care and outcomes.
