Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support infection prevention practices. Rotating weekends and holidays apply.

The role requires CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 16. Facility offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Training provided by the facility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with State Board, or in process within four months by enrolled training.
• CNA certification training provided by facility.
• Annual continuing education requirements of 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional support.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services to maintain clean living areas.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes accurately.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
