Job summary

Palolo Chinese Home in Honolulu, HI seeks a dedicated CNA to assist residents with daily living activities under licensed nursing supervision. You will administer medications and treatments, observe residents, and document care while ensuring safety and dignity.

The position offers an evening shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) with competitive pay ($22.50–$26.00/hour) and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, and retirement savings options.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Hawaii CNA certification preferred.
• English reading/writing and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents administration.
• Observes residents and reports changes in condition to nurses and physicians.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Maintains rooms and assists with cleanliness and supplies.
• Supports meals, hydration, and monitoring of intake.
• Documents care provided and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs clerical duties and ensures safety of residents.
