Job summary

Palolo Chinese Home is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for patients in Honolulu.

Pay range is $22.50 to $26.00 per hour based on experience and skill. Benefits include housing options, health insurance, PTO, 401(k) with match, student loan help, sign-on/retention bonus, and more.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Aide training program.
• Current Hawaii certification as a Certified Nurse Aide.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification.
• 2 step TB clearance.
• Criminal Background Check, Fingerprinting, and Drug Screen Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Take and record patients' vital signs.
• Assist nurses with medical procedures as needed.
• Ensure patients' rooms are clean and organized.
• Follow established treatment plans to help patients reach their healthcare goals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
