Palolo Chinese Home in Hawai‘i seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to help residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will administer medications as prescribed, monitor conditions, and document care while ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hawaii CNA certification, CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• English language proficiency required to communicate with residents and staff.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents accordingly.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Observes residents, reports changes to nurses and physicians.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in resident rooms and common areas.
• Prepares residents for appointments and procedures as directed.
• Performs clerical duties and supports unit operations when needed.
• Ensures dignity, confidentiality and resident well-being at all times.
