Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Carrollton Rehab & Wellness Center. You will perform direct resident care under licensed supervision and assist with activities of daily living to support compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
