Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Summerfield Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in Louisville, KY. Join a family-based organization delivering resident-centered care and a broad spectrum of services from short-term rehab to long-term care.

You will provide direct resident care under supervision, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and help maintain a compassionate environment. 8-hour shifts available, including 3 PM–11 PM, with strong team support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where the facility operates.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff.
Customer service oriented with ability to work well under pressure.
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Function independently, with integrity and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Perform direct resident care under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) per care plan.
Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other basics as assigned.
Turn and position residents regularly; support resident rights within care environment.
Assist in orientation and training of other staff; handle special projects and duties as assigned.
